Three decisions before buying crystal blanks

PROCUREMENT GUIDE

Preparing specifications for crystal trophy blanks

A trade inquiry starts with the blank you need to buy. Give your supplier enough detail to distinguish the stock model, dimensions and supply condition from the decoration your business will add later.

Compare three crystal trophy model references

Use these catalogue references to start a wholesale blank inquiry. Reference specifications checked on 2026-10-08; confirm the current product details and final blank supply specification before ordering.

From our workshop to your order specification

These stills from our company video show cutting, facet grinding and surface inspection. Use them alongside the model specifications when discussing your blank order.

Confirm the production steps, surface requirements and packing for your selected model in the quotation.

Identify the model and dimensions

Send the product link or model number and required dimensions. For a proposed change, provide a dimensioned drawing or marked reference. Ask whether the change can be produced; do not assume that a pictured design is available in every size.

Can I request blanks if the product photo shows a finished trophy?

Yes. Use the model number or product link to request an undecorated blank quotation, even when the photo shows a decorated example. Identify any text, logo or decoration you want omitted and the processing your business will carry out. Confirm the material, base, assembly and packing in the quotation; the photograph alone does not define the blank supply specification.

Keep an approved reference

Agree whether a sample is needed to check material, dimensions and packing. Record the approved model and specification for your receiving checks and future purchases. Confirm any acceptance requirements before ordering.

Write down the acceptance checks

Record the dimensions to measure, the surfaces to inspect and the agreed reference sample. Discuss chips, scratches, visible inclusions, base alignment and any acceptable appearance variation before production. Agree numerical tolerances with the supplier for the selected model; do not treat a catalogue photograph as a tolerance specification. Keep the same checklist for incoming inspection and reorders.

PROCUREMENT GUIDE

Checking crystal blanks for your engraving process

Choose blanks around your own production setup. Suitability depends on the selected material, shape and processing method; confirm the specification and evaluate samples before ordering in volume.

Can I process a trophy blank with its base already attached?

Check the assembled sample with your own equipment before placing a bulk order. TL-CT-101, TL-CT-102 and TL-CT-149 are supplied with their bases already glued. Compare the complete model dimensions and shape with your fixtures and loading setup, then evaluate your intended process on a sample. An attached base does not by itself establish compatibility with your machine. If your workflow needs separate components, include that request for review before ordering.

Describe your process

Tell the supplier whether you intend to use surface engraving, internal laser work or printing. Ask for material details for the chosen model. Do not assume every crystal blank is interchangeable across processes or machines.

Evaluate a sample before scaling up

Discuss obtaining samples and test them with your own equipment and settings. Review the finished result and handling requirements, then retain the approved specification as the reference for the bulk order. Sample timing and costs should be confirmed in the quote.

PROCUREMENT GUIDE

Requesting a wholesale crystal blank quotation

List your model references, quantities and destination so the quotation can address the goods your business needs to purchase.

Break down quantities by model

Provide a product link or model number, dimensions and quantity for each line. State that you need undecorated blanks and identify any base, assembly or sample requirements. Ask whether mixed-model purchasing is available for your proposed order.

Specify packing and delivery

Describe individual packing, outer-carton and labeling requirements. Give the destination country and postal code plus your required delivery date. Ask for production time and transit time separately.

Compare quotations on the same specification

Confirm the minimum quantity, sample costs, packing, freight, payment terms and any import costs included in the offer. Use the same model and supply condition when comparing prices, and retain the agreed specification for reorders.

Does a 12-piece carton change the 50-piece minimum order?

No. The usual bulk minimum is 50 pieces per model; carton packing is a separate specification. For TL-CT-101, TL-CT-102 and TL-CT-149, the confirmed carton quantity is 12. Four full cartons contain 48 pieces, below the usual minimum, while five contain 60. These are packing examples, not a new 60-piece minimum. Send the quantity you actually need and ask us to confirm the final order quantity and packing for any part-filled carton in the quotation.

Compare packaging and delivery separately

Specify the individual gift box or optional wooden box, protective inserts, outer-carton requirements and labels. Ask for the proposed packing details and confirm which costs are included. Record sample preparation, bulk production and shipping transit as separate stages. For US deliveries, provide the state and ZIP code and ask who arranges customs clearance and pays import charges; do not assume a freight quote includes those charges.

Trophy blank order terms

What is the minimum wholesale quantity?

The usual minimum order is 50 pieces per model. If you select several models, each model requires at least 50 pieces. Send your model list, dimensions and quantities for a quotation.

Can you develop custom trophy blanks and samples?

Yes. We can develop custom trophy blanks and samples to your requirements. Send your drawings or reference images, dimensions and material requirements so we can review the design and confirm sampling details and costs. Sampling generally takes 5–7 days. The usual 50-piece minimum per model applies to bulk orders; sampling is discussed separately.

How long do trophy samples and bulk orders take?

Trophy sampling generally takes 5–7 days. Bulk production timing depends on the order quantity and is confirmed for your order. Ask for shipping transit time separately.

What packaging is available for trophies?

Trophies are usually supplied in gift boxes. Premium wooden boxes are also available as an option. Specify your preferred packaging when requesting a quotation.

What are the payment terms for trophy orders?

A 30% deposit is required, with the remaining 70% paid in full before shipment.

Fill in the quantity for each model, supply condition, processing requirements, packing, destination and required delivery date. Add other model references as needed, then copy the completed requirements into our inquiry form. Each selected model normally requires 50 pieces; 50 pieces split across these three models does not meet that minimum.
