Describe the operation your business will perform
State whether you plan to mark the surface, create an image inside the blank or print on a face. Identify the model and explain the intended result. These are different purchasing briefs, even when the same catalogue shape catches your eye.
Share any equipment, loading or fixture constraints that affect which blank you can use. Ask the supplier to review the proposed material and supply condition. The word “crystal” alone does not establish compatibility with a particular machine or process.
Check the complete shape and assembly
Compare the overall dimensions with your loading setup and check how you will hold and orient the piece. Include the base in that review if it arrives attached. Facets, curved surfaces and bonded components may change how you position a design or fixture the product.
TL-CT-101, TL-CT-102 and TL-CT-149 have pre-glued bases. If your workflow requires separate parts, request that supply condition for review before ordering. Do not assume that a standard assembled trophy will be supplied unassembled.
Run a sample trial that represents the order
Use the proposed blank with your intended equipment, fixture and process. Check the result against the design and appearance requirements you have agreed. Keep a record of the sample model and specification alongside your own processing notes.
For a surface process, review the marked or printed result on the selected face. For internal engraving, review the result within the selected blank. A trial on a different shape or material is useful background, but it should not replace evaluation of the product you intend to buy.
Keep sample approval separate from bulk release
Before confirming the bulk order, record the approved blank specification, assembly, appearance checks and packing. Ask how the supplied batch will be matched to the agreed reference. Agree any required measurements and tolerances rather than treating a successful trial as a universal performance guarantee.
Retain the reference for repeat purchases and review changes to material, dimensions or assembly before reordering. When moving to another model, use its own specification and sample decision.
A useful sample-trial record
- Model, material description, overall dimensions and assembly.
- Your equipment, fixture and intended surface or internal process.
- The result checked against your design and appearance requirements.
- The approved reference and any changes needed before a bulk order.
Adapt this inquiry brief
We plan to use [process] on [model]. Our loading setup requires [constraint]. Please confirm the blank supply condition and discuss samples so we can evaluate the piece with our equipment before bulk approval.
Start with a model reference
These trophy references have confirmed dimensions, pre-glued bases and 12 pieces per carton. Review the product details and confirm the supply specification in your quotation.
